From Reclaimed Roots to Refined Results

The spark for Originally New started in 2016, when founder Jonathan Mabrito, assisted in building a home to support his mother and brother’s disabilities.

When it came to the flooring, the cost was overwhelming, and Jonathan knew there had to be a better way. Just a couple years later discovered gently used commercial grade carpet tiles: durable, simple to work with and very affordable. What started as a personal solution quickly grew into a mission to help his community save money without sacrificing quality.

In 2018, with the support of his grandfather, Roger Sollenbarger, Jonathan launched the business. First as Junction Eco Mart, later evolving into Originally New to reflect both reclaimed beginnings and a growing commitment to modern flooring solutions.

As Originally New grew, Jonathan expanded the vision beyond reclaimed materials to offer a full range of premium flooring options at very competitive pricing.

What started as a small business focused on giving products a second life has evolved into a trusted source for high-quality carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl plank flooring all backed by expert service and local care.
